Holistic management of canine epilepsy and cognitive dysfunction.

A Nestle PURINA® hosted symposium invited 5 recognized speakers to come and talk about the holistic management of canine epilepsy and cognitive dysfunction.

In this first symposium, which took place in Malta, the speakers discussed different approaches to the chain of care in epilepsy management from first option practice to referral services and back, with nutritional management of dogs with cognitive impairment being a topic of high interest. Insights were also discussed on how to improve the quality of life of epileptic dogs, and the lives of their owners.
